Centre for Nepal Studies UK (CNSUK) is an organization registered in England and Wales under Companies Act 1985. The aim of CNSUK is to carry out research and to provide consultancy services in the areas of population, health, education, gender, community development and environmental issues in the UK and elsewhere. All the founder members of CNSUK are high level professionals, trained from reputed international universities, and have significant work experiences including high-profile organisations such as the United Nations and international research centres.

NepaliSamajUK is a non-profitable, non-political online Nepalese community website established by Nepalese Students on 14th September 2004 in the United Kingdom with the goal of promoting and preserving Nepalese culture and identity and uniting Nepalese people around the world as well as anyone else interested in Nepal.

Taekwondo is a modern martial art characterized by it's fast, high and spinning kicks. The name Taekwondo means: Tae='to strike, or block with the foot' or 'to kick' and it also means 'jump', K'won='Fist' or 'to strike, or block with hand' and Do='The way of' or 'art'. Take this together and Taekwondo means: "The art of Kicking and Punching" or "The art of unarmed combat".

The Nepalese village of Tang Ting twinned with Debden and Wimbish on May 12th 2007 in a ceremony at Carver Barracks attended by the Nepalese ambassador, who joined villagers in signing a twinning charter. News of the twinning was carried on the front page of the Kathmandu Post.
The Tang Ting Twinning Association aims to promote friendship and co-operation between the communities of Debden, Debden Green and Wimbish in the UK, and of Tang Ting in Nepal, to the benefit of all of our citizens.
